Thaipusam 2011 (Part 2)


Reflection of passion: This scene was framed off
a small puddle of water.

This was easily one of the most graphic images I've ever

seen at a Thaipusam festival in Penang.

I was just inches below this devotee (foreground), and used
his body to frame another devotee who was swaying back
and forth.This was the clearest from a series of frames shot.

Hooks, sweat and perseverance: The journey of fulfilling a

vow is about to reach its zenith for this devotee.


Lenses used: 70-200mm, 18-200mm and 50mm

Yeah..at times I just had to put my camera away and admire what was in front of me..
